Good food and good service, but the quality has been inconsistent. I’ve been here three times now, and the food has tasted noticeably different each time. Sometimes the chicken choila has a delicious smoky jerky flavor, while other times it has barely any smokiness and is much heavier on the cardamom. The chicken chili was especially off-putting on my most recent visit. It smelled like old/stale chicken, and I couldn’t eat it. This definitely wasn’t the case during my first visit. I’m not sure if the inconsistency is due to different chefs, but the recipe and preparation should be same regardless of who’s cooking.I’ll give them another chance because I enjoyed my first experience, but based on my three visits so far, I’d give them 3/5.

We went to Gorkhali Kitchen in New Tampa and had a really enjoyable meal. We ordered the pan-fried chicken dumplings, chicken tikka masala, cheese and garlic naan, and rabari for dessert. One thing to know about the spice level: we specifically asked for everything to be not spicy at all, but the dishes still came with some heat. It wasn’t so spicy that we couldn’t eat it. In fact, everything was delicious, but if you enjoy a little bit of spice, I would recommend asking for “no spice,” because you will probably still get a little bit of heat. The chicken tikka masala was extraordinary. Very, very good. The cheese naan and garlic naan were both delicious and went perfectly with the tikka masala. The pan-fried chicken dumplings were also good, although the spicy sauce served with them was much too spicy for my taste. Without the sauce, though, I felt the dumplings themselves could have used more seasoning. I ended up dipping them into the tikka masala instead, and that combination was actually really delicious! And then there was the rabari. I wasn’t even sure at first whether it was supposed to be eaten warm or cold, but the moment I tasted it, it brought me back to my childhoo

You come here for the food. You come here for the momos. The chili momos are the best. The momos in jhol soup are next. The noodles are good too. Special mention for their Wo. Very invigorating. End or begin with the Rabari.

It's amazing place with great Nepali food. There can be some upgrades in the setting and environment. Will change it to five star if that happens. Will visit in few months again. Restaurant with MICHELIN star.

Definitely the most authentic Nepalese food in the area. Chicken choila was amazing , for the Himalayan thali 5/5 , momos were great . The music they play is very peaceful , a hidden gem in Tampa . Ordered chicken chowmein to go , even after 2 hrs of travel it tasted amazing .
